Microsoft will educate children from crisis families to basic computer skills

Microsoft plans to teach computer literacy to children from underprivileged and crisis families. Microsoft has started working with SOS Children Village in line with the universal educational “IDEA” project (Information Dissemination and Equal Access, www.idea-ukraine.org). The purpose of the “IDEA” project is to teach modern information technology and computer literacy to socially unprotected strata of the population in order to raise their quality of life. <br />

«Green holiday» from SEB Bank

On June 3, 2010 SEB Bank and Microsoft employees visited SOS Children Village in Brovary. They together with kids planted firtrees and thuyas. This event was devoted to World Environment Day. After planting the competition of street painting on asphalt has been held for children. The winners were rewarded with presents and then everyone has participated in a picnic. Common work, painting, sweets, balloons and photographing created a real holiday for children.
Nutricia cares about children from “SOS Children Village” in Brovary.

Nutricia donated 60’000 UAH to International Charitable Organization “CHARITABLE FOUNDATION” SOS CHILDREN VILLAGE” in line with the “Supporting Lives” campaign. These funds will be used for developing personal and professional skills of SOS-children. According to the campaign, out of each “Malyatko” baby food package sold 10 kopecks will go to the account of “SOS Children’s Village”. This charitable action has been successfully working since 2007.
