Who we are?

“SOS Children Village” is independent, nongovernmental, social organization, which has been working for children’s good since 1949, for children, who has left without parental care and defends their rights and interests and cooperates in their development in 132 countries around the world.

The attention of our Organization is focused on the care for children and their light and merry future. The main principals, on which our Organization is built on are: courage, first of all in the innovational ways of upbringing children; allegiance to the work, to which we devoted our lives; trust, first of all to each other and liability as for our partners.   

The activity of SOS Children Village is based on strong conviction that every child deserves loving father, mother, sister, brother and warm home.  We build real families for the bereaved children, in which they wil have the opportunity to find love and support, to heal emotional wounds and to learn to trust the world around them again. In order to prevent social orphanage, in our social center we arrange consultations, providing in such way psychological and material support to social weak families.
